The world is what you make it

As I was scrolling thru my instagram (you should totally follow me btw @katjusa1 😉) today I came across this quote that said: "If you lie on the ground on your back, it's like the world is your backpack and you're carrying it through space". I don't know about you but I thought it was kinda absurd but simultaneously so true.

It's one of those things that you don't think about spontaneously but when you hear it from somewhere it's all you can think about for a while because there's no way that you can really disagree with it. I mean who are you to say that that's not true? 😜

But back to the point. I totally agree with that quote. My biggest question is that if the world was your backpack, what kinda would it be? Would it be good or bad, beautiful or ugly, organized or a total mess? What kinda world you wanna live in and what are you gonna do to achieve that?

It's so easy to just step back and say that how can you make a difference just by yourself when theres billions of other people. That's the thing, it's all about your attitude. Rome wasn't built in one day and the world won't be changed in one day either. It's true that it's not really possible to do it all by yourself but if you have an idea that you believe in and you share it with the world, then maybe the world will share the same idea too, you never know. All you gotta do is try. If it doesn't work, well that sucks but at least you tried.

I know I'm not writing often enough but I'm graduating from high school this June so I have my finals going on right now (3/5 done ✌) so that pretty much takes all my time and energy. My last exam is on Friday so maybe after that I'll start writing even once a week 🙈

Is reality boring?

As I was watching the Twilight Eclipse today I started to wonder what would the world be like if all these fantasy creatures like vampires and werewolves were real. I mean seriously. Yeah I ofc prefer the reality since it would probably be super dangerous if those were real but is our reality still kinda boring?

The humans have ruled this world for centuries without anyone or anything stopping us or fighting back. I mean I'm glad that I don't have to live in fear or fight for my life (even tho in todays world maybe we should all take a self-defense class 😉) but still. And maybe even if all those creatures would exist we could all just live in peace (#hopefullthinking 😜).

I wouldn't mind having some fantasy creatures as my friends. That would be so cool ✌ Totally wouldn't have to carry my bag if I had a werewolf as a friend 🤔 tho wait I have a boyfriend so I don't have to carry my bag anyway 💁 haha okay I'm totally kidding I wouldn't do that. I'm okay with carrying my stuff by myself. I'm an independent woman who don't need no man 💁💁💁 okay having someone by my side is actually pretty nice so maybe I need a man just a little bit 🙈 or maybe a bit more...but not too much. Afterall I'm a Finn and we Finns, we need some space 😂🇫🇮❤

Srsly like can you tell that it's almost 1am and I haven't slept that well for the past couple of nights? I certainly can 😂 Maybe I shouldn't write blog posts at this time of the day or at least plan them out a bit... But I mean I wanna be real and not pretend to be anyone else so well this is me. Take it or leave it. ✌

But now this independent or not so independent Finnish woman is going to bed. Let me know what you think, should I keep posting things like this aka just things that come into my mind or should I plan my posts better? If you think I should plan more let me know what kinda posts would you like me to write. ❤
